Artistic Inspiration Challenge #23 - A Bit Of Sparkle

It's time for another challenge over at Artistic Inspirations. This week our theme is "A Bit Of Sparkle". The other DT's and I have some lovely projects that I know will inspire you to get some great projects done so you can join us. Our sponsors are:


I used my image from QKR called "Girlfriends" which I colored with Spectrum Noir markers.
My papers are from Stampin Up that I bought at least a year ago to which I added purple bling flowers from my stash to for the base. I used Label 1 Nestabilities that I got a couple of years ago and cut in half diagonally. I added lace (yard sale find) to the back of the diecut striped paper using scor-tape. I added purple hemp (my stash) at the top edge of the diecut with wet glue. I cut the new image in an oval after coloring it with my new Spectrum Noir markers and matted with purple card stock then popped up a bit on the die-cut. Of course, all my edges are inked up to add dimension. My "bit of sparkle" is the hearts on the dolls shoes and the purple bling flowers from my stash.

    This is gorgeous Trisha! Love how you cut the label in half, and all your added embellishment. The lace looks very pretty and I love the way that you fluted it - might case that! Your colouring is fantastic. Nicola x
