Hello Crafters!
It's time for a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu. It was my turn to host the challenge this time. I chose the theme of "Snow Much Fun" and of course anything goes within the challenge. Here's my inspiration for you.
I made a gate fold card from Not Quite Navy card stock (SU) but, flipped it to open top to bottom. I embossed the top portion of the gate with a snowflake folder and used designer paper on the bottom. Then I inked the edges of the card and paper with the navy ink. I then used my brayer and colored the paper doily with Bravo Burgundy ink (SU). I sprayed it with Champagne Mist glitter spray (SU) then added a card stock circle to the back for support. Once dry, I attached the doily to the top portion only of the card. The ice skates were cut on my Silhouette machine. I added silver string to the skates for laces and stamped a small snowflake on the heal. The top skate is popped up with foam tape. I wrapped gray ribbon around the middle of the bottom card section and tied a bow. I use the label punch (SU) to punch the sentiment and mat then added the snowflakes after inking the edges and attached to the bottom portion of the card and tucked the doily behind to hold the card shut. Last, I added bling all around on the skate, doily and snowflakes.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you will join us at Eclectic Ellapu this week, it's sure to be snow much fun!
